This week, representatives from Great British Energy – Nuclear (GBE-N) met with elected members of the Isle of Anglesey County Council to provide an update on progress with the Gwyndod project and outline key activities ahead of the first stage of public consultation later this year.
The briefing provided an opportunity to share the latest developments, discuss the role the proposed development could play in supporting long-term jobs, skills and economic growth, and answer questions from councillors.
The meeting formed part of GBE-N’s ongoing engagement programme, helping ensure local communities and their representatives remain informed as plans for Gwyndod continue to develop ahead of consultation.
